Futoshiki is played on a 5x5 grid where the objective is to fill each row and column with numbers from one to five, ensuring that no number repeats within any row or column. In addition to this fundamental rule, players must also adhere to relational constraints—indicated by inequality signs—placed between certain cells. Some cells may be pre-filled at the outset; these are integral to the puzzle and cannot be altered during play.
